Restaurants
For a relatively small island,
Hilton Head is remarkably well endowed with places in which to eat.
In fact, there are more than 280 restaurants serving the greatest
variety of foods imaginable. Cuisines from all over the world are
represented, but being on an island you might expect to find the
very finest fresh seafood, and you will not be disappointed. Try
some of the fabulous South Carolina specialties and remember that
the waters around Hilton Head are rich in all sorts of tasty marine
life, including the most succulent shrimps youre ever likely
to eat! For a meal with a difference, why not try one of the dining
cruises that are available during the warmer seasons of the year.

" While we were there we
ate at several restaurants. The best overall experience was actually
right at theBreakers in the Oceanside shopping center at the frontof
the complex on the left. It was a mom-and-pop restaurant called
Captain's Seafood. We thought itwas the best value by far. The food
was very well prepared, and there was never a wait. Plus, the convenience
to the condo was very nice. It's nothing fancy, but the food was
as good or better than othermore expensive places we tried. I found
these two links that had lots of good restaurants on the island.
This one has links to most menus which lets you see how pricey a
place is before going: http://www.hhidining.com/alphabet.php
This one has updates on new
