Charleston
We
have been in Charleston just once. It was several years ago, and
the weather was not the best one for sightseeing. It was windy and
cold.
But
the city was what we expected it to be - a unique mixture of cultures
and generations. We did not have much time to spend, and desire
to go back.

Gardens
Wildlife abounds at Cypress Gardens. Outdoors
enthusiasts and birdwatchers as well as hikers will particularly
enjoy the two rambling nature trails in isolated areas of the swamp.
Drayton
Hall
Built between 1738 and 1742, Drayton Hall
is considered one of the finest examples of colonial architecture
in America.
Edmondston-Alston
House
On Charleston's High Battery, the Edmondston-Alston
House is a gracious example of early nineteenth-century living.

Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Steeped in history since the early days of
Charles Towne, this site has seen much political and public activity.
Gibbes
Museum
The Gibbes represents a long and impressive
tradition of cultrual leadership in historic Charleston.
Middleton
Place
Middleton Place is a carefully preserved 18th
century plantation on the Ashley River.
