Day 3 - Savannah 
By car
- After
you leave the island, turn left to Bluffton (Hwy. 46) and drive
along the coast. Turn left to Hwy. 170, anf then to Hwy. 17. Taking
I-95 might be a little faster (not true during a rush hour!),
but less interesting.
By Boat
Historic River Street Express
aboard the Spirit of Harbour Town. The Island's only heated and
air conditioned non-stop to the historic district of Sauannah. This
partially narrated cruise takes you to River Street, the heart of

Tour historic homes, take a trolley and tour, shop, or dine in
one of the waterfront restaurants where you can watch people stroll
by as you eat.
Chuck's Bar (305 W. River
Street) is named by Creative Loafing as one of the best Savannah's
hang outs. It is located on historic Street downltown.
